Company Also Reports Record Levels of Customer Satisfaction
MARLBOROUGH, Mass. (February 20, 2007) - Workscape, Inc., experts in outsourced benefits and compensation solutions, today revealed details of its financial year 2006, which ended December 31, 2006. During this period, Workscape expanded existing relationships with a number of Fortune 500 companies, as well as welcomed new customers and renewed agreements with numerous others. The company also added 117 new employees to its workforce and moved its U.S.-based HR service center to a larger facility in Meridian, Idaho.
Workscape welcomed many new customers during the year, including BMW Manufacturing, Avis Budget Group, Inc., Saint Barnabas Health Care System, Covalence Specialty Materials Corporation (previously known as Tyco Plastics & Adhesives), Realogy, a spin-off of the real estate division of Cendant, as well as one of the world’s largest lodging franchisers.
Tim Clifford, President and CEO of Workscape, said, “2006 was another record-breaking year for Workscape. We achieved significant milestones, including beating profitability targets, attaining record-levels of customer satisfaction, relocating our U.S.-based HR service center to a larger facility in Meridian, Idaho, doubling the size of our sales force, releasing our industry-leading compensation planning products on a completely new technology platform and increasing our fourth-quarter bookings by 54% over 2005.”
Most recently, New Jersey-based Saint Barnabas Health Care System, the largest healthcare delivery system in N.J. with more than 15,000 employees, selected Workscape for its outsourced benefits administration (OBA) services, by signing a five-year contract. Sidney Seligman, Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Saint Barnabas Health Care System, commented, “After much research, we chose Workscape for our benefits enrollment, eligibility and communications. Their specialized HR Service Center and innovative solutions will enable us to better serve the benefits needs of our employees and their families.”
Autodesk is the world's leading 2D and 3D design software company for the manufacturing, building and construction, and media and entertainment markets. The company expanded its existing benefits relationship with Workscape by selecting Workscape’s award-winning Compensation Planner to power their compensation planning processes.
Workscape customers renewing or expanding their outsourced benefits administration and compensation solutions relationships with the company included Ohio Health, which was recently named to Fortune Magazine’s “Top 100 Employers to Work For” list; Tyco, National City, Raytheon, and Ahold, among others. Other organizations renewing their ongoing relationship with Workscape included one of North America's leading retail food companies; the world's largest retailer of natural and organic foods; a leading industrial supplies manufacturer; a leading provider of voice, video and data services; a leading provider of transportation, logistics and related services; and, a health plan serving almost 9 million members.
Clifford stated, “It is gratifying to make so much progress during the year, but at the end of the day everything comes down to whether our customers feel we have added value to their business, improving their workforce productivity and retention and raising ROI on their labor spend. To this end during 2006, we again conducted our annual survey to evaluate why companies chose Workscape instead of the competition, and to fully understand customer expectations and how we are performing. This research was administered by an external provider that presented us with their findings last month.” He continued, “I’m delighted to report that the results underscore that we’ve added yet another major accomplishment to our winning year: record-levels of customer satisfaction, which are directly related to our ability to attract, retain and expand our client relationships.”
On the product front, Workscape unveiled its performance-driven compensation solution last October at the 9th Annual HR Technology Conference and Exhibition in Chicago. The company received its fifth consecutive perimeter certification from Cybertrust; further validating Workscape’s commitment to the highest security standards. Workscape also received accolades from industry analysts for its role as a leading provider of on-demand applications delivered via the software-as-a-service model.
Clifford concluded, “Our successes in 2006 serve as a strong springboard for another outstanding year in 2007. Our ability to attain high levels of customer satisfaction while winning new business under extremely competitive circumstances underscores the power of our offerings and workforce.”
