CHICAGO — Susan Henry of The Jacobson Group was named president of the Illinois Staffing Association (ISA), the Illinois chapter of the American Staffing Association (ASA), for the 2007-2009 term. The ASA is composed of professional staffing and search firms that offer staffing solutions to a variety of industries and companies. The association promotes legal, ethical and professional practices for the staffing industry through legislative advocacy, public relations, education and ethical conduct.
Henry is a Senior Vice President of Jacobson Solutions, the flexible delivery arm of The Jacobson Group, the national professional and human capital services firm serving the insurance, healthcare and financial service industries. Prior to this announcement, Henry served on the ISA board of directors.
As president, Henry will be a member of all chapter committees, as well as serve as the primary chapter liaison between the local chapter and the ASA and the National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS). She will conduct all general member and monthly board meetings and appoint committee chairpersons and members.
Among other initiatives, Henry will strive to increase ISA membership, develop an associate membership program and schedule monthly training and networking sessions for managers and employees of staffing and search firms.

Additionally, we are confident that we can increase membership by demonstrating the value that the association can bring to Illinois companies, whether they are a small firm, headquarter location or branch office.”
Henry is involved in several industry associations at local, regional and national levels. She lectures and participates in organizations including the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) Society, the National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW), the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) and various claims associations. Henry graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska, Omaha.
