PORTLAND, Maine (June 5, 2007) – Unum (NYSE:UNM) today announced that Steve Meahl has been appointed senior vice president of sales for its Unum US division.
This is a return to the company for Meahl as he worked for Unum from 1978-1999 in various sales positions, including sales representative, office manager, and regional sales vice president. He moved to Portland in 1995 to become senior vice president of Unum’s long term care business.
Meahl was most recently president of an international sales consulting company.
