NEW YORK: August 30, 2007 -- Rob Goren has joined Buck Consultants as a Director in its Atlanta office.
Goren joins Buck from CompBenefits Corporation, where he served as Vice President and Actuary, and was responsible for managing the company’s actuarial, dental underwriting, and vision underwriting departments. His expertise includes benefit design cost analyses, dental and vision experience rating, calculation of reserves, medical plan pricing, claims analyses, and utilization and billing pattern analyses.
Goren is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina and his masters in actuarial science from Georgia State University.
