MassMutual Retirement Services Appoints Paul Steven Henry Vice President, Product Development

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass., June 18 /PRNewswire/ -- MassMutual Retirement Services
has appointed Paul Steven Henry to the position of vice president, product
development, effective June 4. Mr. Henry has more than 25 years of experience
in the financial services industry, including 15 years in retirement services
strategy, marketing and product development. He reports to Ian Sheridan, vice
president and head of the marketing and product development organization for
MassMutual's Retirement Services Division.
   
Mr. Henry, who joined MassMutual from John Hancock, previously held key
roles on the retirement services management teams at Scudder, Transamerica and
Charles Schwab.  "Paul Henry brings a 360 degree perspective to the product
development role that will benefit all of MassMutual's constituents, from
financial advisors and third-party administrators to the plan sponsors and
participants they serve," says Sheridan.
   
In his new role, Mr. Henry is responsible for ensuring that MassMutual's
products and services continue to meet the needs and expectations of customers
and distribution channels. "My goal is to anticipate market needs, and to
expand our high-caliber product development organization to ensure consistent
delivery of thoughtful, innovative, well-executed, and high value products and
