Ceridian Corp., LifeWorks Services, Minneapolis, Minn., was awarded on May 6, 2005 a $7,684,952 firm-fixed-price contract for Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services in support of the “Military OneSource” Program which provides assistance to approximately 3 million members of the Armed Services and their families through in internet, telephone, and e-mail 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Work will be performed in St. Petersburg, Fla. (40 percent); Plymouth Meeting, Pa., (40 percent); and Washington, D.C. (20 percent), and is expected to be completed in June 2005. Contract funds in the amount of $7,684,952 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting activity (N61339-05-C-0086).
Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $5,261,996 modification under previously awarded contract (N00024-03-C-5127) to exercise an option for one (1) MK 2 Mod 1A Tactical System and associated equipment, in support of the Navy’s Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) program. SSDS provides improved ship self defense capabilities against Anti-Ship Cruise Missile attack for select ships by integrating existing and programmed Anti-Air Warfare stand-alone defensive systems and providing an automated quick response and multi-target engagement capability emphasizing performance in the littoral environment. This requirement will be used aboard CVN-75. Work will be performed in Portsmouth, R. I. (70 percent) and San Diego, Calif. (30 percent), and is scheduled to be completed by May 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C. is the contracting activity.
