FARMINGTON, CT (September 14, 2007) – Cardium Health and AirLogix formally announce the
coming together and “mixing” of their two organizations to create a single, integrated company that
will bring innovative thinking and expanded capabilities to the healthcare market. The integrated
company, represented with a new name and new brand, will be announced later this year. In the
interim, Cardium Health + AirLogix will bring its message to the market at three prominent industry
conferences in September and October.
Dan Cave, president and CEO of Cardium Health + AirLogix, has led the integration of the two
companies and provided the vision for the combined organization going forward. “The current
healthcare system has evolved over time and has reached a point where, by nearly all accounts, it is
falling far short of what is needed. As an industry, we need to think beyond what currently exists and
consider what’s possible. Cardium Health + AirLogix are coming together as one company to
reconstruct healthcare with an inclusive people-centered model that will empower individual
consumers, healthcare payers and providers to improve health, extend wellness and deliver value.”
Cardium Health + AirLogix is bringing its vision and message to the market at the 2007 Disease
Management Leadership Forum being held this week at Caesar’s Palace Casino in Las Vegas, NV
(booth number 501). Additionally, the company will have a presence at the 2007 Health Management
Congress, Sept. 24-26, at Disneyland Resort, Anaheim, CA (booth number 217) and at the Florida
Association of Health Plans, Oct.22-23, at Four Seasons Resort, Palm Beach, FL (booth number 3).
The [ M I X ] message at these conferences uses a bold and unexpected theme to convey the vision to
reconstruct healthcare. Cardium Health + AirLogix are building something new with the recognition
that life often gets in the way of health. Listen to the buzz – the best is yet to come.
