Mercer HR Services carries strong momentum into 2006

Active second half brings 2005 new client total to 36

Mercer HR Services, the outsourcing business of Mercer Human Resource Consulting, posted a strong finish in 2005, signing 36 new clients during the year, 21 in the last six months alone. New clients include MGM Grand, Chevron Phillips Chemical, E.ON U.S. LLC (formerly LG&E Energy LLC), CONSOL Energy Inc., and Arkema Inc., a major global chemical company.
Overall, Mercer HR Services saw growth across all lines of business, including health and benefits administration, absence management, retirement, and business process outsourcing.
With the introduction of Mercer Retirement SolutionsTM came an expanded opportunity for Mercer HR Services, especially as demand for bundled retirement services continues to rise.  Among the clients utilizing Mercer Retirement Solutions is E.ON U.S. LLC, which needed a bundled solution to streamline the operation of both defined benefit and defined contribution plans.
