Time For Action, Time For Change - An Employer´s Symposium

Strategic Employment Solutions (SES) is hosting its third annual employer conference on October 13th, 2006 for companies interested in a labour pool that is diverse, talented and highly retainable - Persons With Disabilities.

Date - Place-

October 13, 2006

Intercontinental Toronto Centre

225 Front West Street, Toronto, ON

WHAT:

"By 2010, for every two Baby Boomers retiring in Ontario, there will only be one person from the general workforce to replace them.  One way CIBC is preparing for this reality is by continuing to recruit employees from untapped labour pools, including Persons With Disabilities."

Richard Venn Senior Executive Vice-President, Corporate Development, CIBC

Strategic Employment Solutions (SES) is hosting its third annual employer conference on October 13th, 2006 for companies interested in a labour pool that is diverse, talented and highly retainable - Persons With Disabilities.

This year, over 1.6 Million Ontarians are living with disabilities.  The majority are job ready and have the skills you need.

Persons with Disabilities offer unique advantages that should be noted:

-          Job Retention - This labour pool is less likely to leave, in fact, studies show their longevity in a job position far outweighs that of the general labour force.

§          Talent - Their education and abilities are similar to that of the general labour force - they represent the full range of skills and experience that exists in the general labour pool.

WHEN:

October 13, 2006

8:30am to 4:00pm

Registration starts at 8am

WHERE:

InterContinental Toronto Centre, 225 Front Street West, Toronto, ON
