WARREN, NJ, July 27, 2007 -- The Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC) honored Kenneth Chung, a vice president with the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies, for his contributions as an Asian American business professional. Chung received his award at the 6th Annual Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business award dinner in New York recently.

Chung has served as the Northeast zone underwriting manager for Chubb Commercial Insurance in Boston since 2002. He began his insurance career in 1980 with INA/CIGNA in Hong Kong. He has an undergraduate degree from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he majored in insurance and a master’s in business administration from Boston University. He also holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK) designations.

“We place a high value on the contributions that Kenneth Chung has made to our business, including his efforts to foster an inclusive work environment,” said John D. We are pleased that he is receiving external recognition that reflects our own view of his accomplishments, and proud of the manner in which he represents the company to our agents, customers and employees.”

“Besides honoring individual accomplishments, the award increases awareness of cultural diversity and creates new opportunities for corporations to strengthen contact with the growing Asian American community, " said John Wang, president of AABDC.
