CHICAGO – Due to significant growth, The Jacobson Group is expanding its Board of Advisors. The Chicago-headquartered professional and human capital services firm serving the insurance, healthcare and financial service industries adds Nancy L. Leaming to its Board.
“Nancy is a proven leader in the managed care community,” said co-Chief Executive Officer, Richard Jacobson, about the appointment. "We are pleased that she has accepted our invitation to join our Advisory Board. She will add insightful industry perspective and valuable hands-on experience to help us better meet the needs of our clients.”
Leaming brings a successful career record of more than 20 years within the insurance and managed care industry to her Advisory Board appointment with Jacobson. Most recently, Leaming served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Tufts Health Plan of Waltham, Mass. Prior to that, she was President and Chief Operating Officer of Tufts. Her successful career also includes executive posts for Harvard Community Health Plan and Matthew Thorntown Health Plan, Inc. Leaming leverages her broad operational experience in various Board of Directors roles, including those for Hologic, Inc.; Edgewater Technology, Inc.; Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation; and American Red Cross of Massachusetts Bay.She received her bachelor’s degree from Lebanon Valley College of Annville, Penn.
