INDIANAPOLIS - JA Benefits, LLC, southern Indiana's largest benefits consulting firm, is conducting the fourth annual benefits survey targeting nearly 1,000 human resource professionals throughout Indiana.
The online survey will take in-depth look at costs and coverage of benefit plans offered by Indiana companies.
"This survey will allow employers to create a benefit strategy that is proactive in regard to their benefit plans," said Doug Johnson, president of JA Benefits. "Quality benefits are the key to attracting and keeping the finest employees."
The 30-minute online survey asks questions about plan designs, premiums, benefit offerings, wellness programs and current and future strategies. Additionally, the survey features in-depth questions on topics such as dental coverage, short- and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, consumer-driven health plans, retiree benefits, and health savings accounts.
The figures taken from the survey will help business owners manage their costs and will provide current market data that will enable companies to hire the most qualified employees.
Human resource professionals must complete the survey by Tuesday, Aug. 1, in order to participate in the survey release of the statewide and company-specific results at the 2006 Indiana SHRM State Conference. The survey presentation will be conducted on the final day of this three-day event at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30, at the Westin Hotel in downtown Indianapolis.
