ACS Extends Leadership Position as Health Savings Accounts Administrator

Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (NYSE: ACS) added more than 250,000 Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) in the past year as more employers offer this tax-free benefit to reduce health care costs to enable their employees to purchase medical services.
DALLAS, TEXAS: May 20, 2009 – Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (NYSE: ACS) added more than 250,000 Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) in the past year as more employers offer this tax-free benefit to reduce health care costs to enable their employees to purchase medical services.

During this period, total HSA assets in accounts administered by ACS increased 52 percent and the average individual account grew by more than 16 percent. ACS currently administers more than 650,000 HSAs, representing approximately 1.5 million people who are taking advantage of the tax-free medical savings account.
