DALLAS, Texas - February 14th, 2005 - Workbrain Corporation (TSX: WB) today announced that Lifespan, Rhode Island's largest provider of health services, has selected Workbrain for Healthcare to improve payroll accuracy across its hospital network. The industry specific workforce management solution will help Lifespan automate manual workforce processes and standardize the application of pay policies for over 10,000 employees. Workbrain made the announcement from the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference taking place this week in Dallas, Texas.

Workbrain for Healthcare is a suite of Web-based applications that features nurse and staff scheduling, time and attendance, employee self-service and Workbrain Intelligence analytics. Lifespan selected Workbrain following an extensive review process that evaluated multiple workforce management systems. The healthcare provider will use Workbrain solutions to ensure consistent and accurate application of union contract rules and pay policies, including entitlements and shift premium calculations.

"Workbrain is excited to add Lifespan to our growing list of healthcare clients," said Mark Fowlie, Workbrain's vice president of Products and Marketing. "Workbrain for Healthcare exemplifies our commitment to developing and delivering industry specific solutions. The field-proven healthcare solution streamlines workforce management processes so hospital staff can focus on the patient."

Workbrain's end-to-end healthcare solution drives significant benefits for hospital organizations. Nurses and other hospital staff can access unique self-scheduling features such as online shift trading to build more flexibility into their schedules. Fully integrated time and attendance ensures compliance with government regulations and pay contracts, and industry specific intelligence dashboards deliver real-time analysis of key performance metrics. Employee self-service allows nurses and other hospital employees to submit leave requests, check schedules and review timesheets from any standard web browser. Workbrain for Healthcare integrates easily with hospital systems, including census and acuity, HRMS and payroll.

"Workbrain's healthcare solution streamlines workforce management processes so hospital staff can focus on the patient," said Workbrain's Fowlie.
