SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. (April 28, 2009) - In honor of President Obama’s 100th day in office, on Wednesday April 29th, author, career coach and entrepreneur Patricia Comeford, J.D., will donate 100 copies of her award winning book,
Lessons from a Headhunter…with Heart!, to the first 100 unemployed individuals who contact her website,
www.youreneverstuck.com. On Wednesday, Comeford will also begin donating one hour/day of her time on Twitter by answering
specific resume and job search questions discouraged job seekers are facing.
Comeford, whose own story is a bit of a rags to riches, got the idea after watching President Obama’s press conference on the landmark “Edward M, Kennedy Service America Act”. After the press conference, she read more about the President’s call for ordinary citizens to deliver change in their communities on www.WhiteHouse.gov and moved into action.
“I’ve been blessed beyond my wildest dreams," says Comeford. "The President’s call to service was the timely nudge for me to do more by sharing ‘the tricks of the recruiting industry trade’ and help people get back to work."
On Wednesday April 29th, she will not only donate 100 copies of her book, but will commence answering questions on everything from resumes and interviewing, to how best to survive the every day stresses of job search like rejection and job search burnout.
