The addition of Jay Mason and Marla Kaufman will help the company expand its market presence in the group legal insurance industry.
Mason joins ARAG as the Mid-Atlantic Regional Sales Manager. Over the past 15 years, Mason served as an independent insurance agent where he sold individual and group life, health and disability insurance along with voluntary benefits. He also gained considerable employee benefits selling experience while selling group products at both Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. and Employer´s Health Insurance.
In addition, Kaufman joins ARAG as the Western Regional Sales Manager. Marla has more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience. She has served as a benefits consultant for a number of California-based as well as national insurance organizations for the past several years, and prior to that she worked for Heath Net where she was named the sales person of the year. She also was named the account manager of the year for five consecutive years at the company.
