September 25, 2006, Toronto, Ontario - The Association of Public-Safety
Communications Officials (APCO) Canada and the National Emergency Number
Association (NENA) Ontario are jointly hosting the first conference and
trade show recognizing the expertise of the public safety
telecommunications professionals from around the world.  "9-1-1 in Any
Language" will be held at the Sheraton Hotel and Convention Center in
downtown Toronto, September 30 - October 4.

The conference will feature over 66 exhibitors occupying over 88 booths. 
Amongst the keynote speakers will be Julian Fantino, the Ontario
Commissioner of Emergency Management and Captain Steve Gordon of the New
Orleans Police Department.  In addition, delegates are confirmed to be
coming from the U.S., India, Nepal, the United Kingdom and Australia.
