    Prior to UltiPro, Angels Baseball had been using a payroll service bureau,
 but wanted access to detailed real-time workforce reporting as well as Web
 self-service for efficiencies. The baseball club selected UltiPro in February
 2006 and undertook an aggressive implementation schedule since its peak season
 was quickly approaching. During the baseball season, Angels Baseball's
 employee counts can jump from approximately 500 employees to 1,400 employees,
 so the HR/payroll group wanted to be "live" before the seasonal expansion. The
 organization began its implementation in March and ran its first payroll in
 April 2006.
