Andrew Mandel Joins Buck Consultants as Principal

Andrew Mandel has joined Buck Consultants as a Principal in the firm's New York office.
NEW YORK: July 3, 2008 -- Andrew Mandel has joined Buck Consultants as a Principal in the firm's New York office.

Mandel joins Buck from Ernst & Young LLP, where he served as Executive Director of its Performance and Reward practice.     

Mandel's expertise includes M&A transaction activity involving compensation and benefits as well as technical issues associated with executive, equity-based, deferred, and incentive plan compensation.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the New York State Society of CPAs, where he served on its Employee Benefits Committee. He has lectured on a number of technical topics and has published articles in the Journal of Compensation and Benefits, M&A Reporter and CPA Journal.

Mandel received his bachelor's degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Albany and his Masters in Taxation from Baruch College.
