ALCAN PACKAGING PROMOTES FRISCH TO EXPANDED ROLE

Chicago, Ill. - Diane Frisch, currently vice president of Human Resources and Communications, Food Americas, has been named vice president of Human Resources and Communications, Food Americas, and vice president of Human Resources, Global Pharmaceutical Packaging.

In her expanded role, Frisch will manage all aspects of the Food Americas and Global Pharmaceutical Packaging divisions' human resources activities. She will continue to be based in Chicago.

Frisch joined Alcan Packaging in 2001, coming from Culligan, where she was vice president of Human Resources. Prior to Culligan, she spent 10 years in human resources management at Alumax. Frisch started her career at American Can Company.

Frisch holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Ithaca College in New York, and a Master of Science degree in industrial relations from the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
