TORONTO, ON – Mr. Ray Roe, President, Adecco North America, is pleased to announce that Norman Carr has been appointed President and COO of Ajilon Canada Inc., a provider of IT and communication-based services. The appointment became effective January 1, 2007.
“Mr. Carr has over 25 years of industry experience and has been with Ajilon for 16 of those years,” said Roe. “He is a valued member of the executive team and I know he will lead the company toward great things in the future.”
Mr. Carr served most recently as Senior Vice-President, Eastern Region and Professional Services. During this time, Mr. Carr was a member of the Canadian executive team with responsibility for initiating and managing key markets in Ottawa and Montreal. He led these markets through significant growth, including Ottawa’s current ranking as the number three market for Ajilon, North America. Mr. Carr was also responsible for Ajilon’s Professional Services Division as it expanded into more solutions-based services.
Before joining Ajilon in 1990, Mr. Carr held various roles in management and sales for a variety of organizations in the North American marketplace.
“I’m really looking forward to leading the Ajilon team towards new opportunities and growth,” said Mr. Carr. “It’s an exciting time at Ajilon and I’m looking forward to this new role.”
