Adicio Expands North American Network With CanWest and Working.com

Largest Canadian Daily Newspaper Publisher Joins Adicio's Job Database Network

CARLSBAD, CA (August 22, 2006) -- Adicio, the Internet's leading developer of Web-based job-board solutions, today announced that it has expanded its National Network to include CanWest's newspapers and primary job site, working.com. CanWest is Canada's largest publisher of daily newspapers.

working.com's North American Network aggregates job listings from local newspapers and related media sites across the U.S. and Canada into a single database. The CanWest properties joining the Network include the National Post, Victoria Times Colonist, The Province, Vancouver Sun, Edmonton Journal, Calgary Herald, Regina Leader-Post, Saskatoon StarPhoenix, Windsor Star, Ottawa Citizen, The Gazette,  and VANNET Newspapers.

"Job hunters visiting working.com or any of the CanWest newspaper sites can now search more than 3.5 million job listings in North America," says Tony Lee, Adicio's chief alliance officer. "In addition, recruiters and those in the HR community can reach qualified candidates in their local markets, as well as through more than 200 participating Network sites across the U.S. and Canada."

"We're pleased to be able to offer working.com visitors, as well as Canadian employers, advertisers and HR recruiters, access and reach beyond Canadian borders and into the U.S.," says Kim Peters, General Manager,   working.com. "Not only can our job seekers search for positions  within their communities, and expand that search regionally and nationally, now they can view all positions posted in the U.S. through the partner sites of our expanded Network," she says.

"From a U.S. perspective, the addition of working.com and CanWest newspapers to the Network offers a great opportunity for CareerJournal.com clients to reach highly skilled candidates throughout Canada, as well as allow our candidates to see job opportunities they would never see otherwise," says Gail Griffin, general manager at The Wall Street Journal Online Network.

Adicio's Network includes more than 200 career web sites belonging to newspapers, magazines, trade associations and TV and radio stations across the country. These participating Network sites generate over 3.5 million job postings and 20+ million unique visitors each month. The Network allows job seekers to search available jobs in the U.S. and Canada each day without leaving the local site where they started their searches.
