Human Resources: ACI Specialty Benefits Acquires Life Care Services EAP

SAN DIEGO, CA / December 17, 2009—ACI Specialty Benefits today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Life Care Services’ employee assistance program (EAP)—ACI’s second major acquisition in less than a year.

Dr. Ann Clark, founder and CEO of ACI Specialty Benefits says, “On the heels of the July acquisition of Leverage Life and launch of SOAR, ACI’s hugely successful student assistance program, this important acquisition of Life Care Services EAP marks the culmination of an incredible year for ACI.”

As a result of this acquisition, ACI Specialty Benefits will deliver comprehensive employee assistance to Life Care Services EAP clientele, expanding market reach across the Pacific Northwest.

The official transition of services begins January 1, 2010.
