Address The Lowlights Before The Highlights
Often companies will concentrate on their successes and celebrate what's going well, rather than putting an adequate focus on the problem areas. However, there's nothing productive about reviewing what has been done well; organizations should concentrate on what can be done to improve.

To win the biggest client relationships, leaders must sometimes take the biggest risk: losing the client. Telling clients what most other people don't want to tell them is a way to gain trust and build long-standing, prosperous relationships.   Having an organization that is open to change and reinvention creates an environment where it is easier to call on innovative thinking in times of need. It creates a shared culture, and inspires energy and creative thinking among people when they need to work together to achieve a common goal.   Being able to quickly re-assess a situation, think on one's feet and be flexible gives a leader or manager the best chance of turning around a seemingly desperate situation

    Cybercorp: The New Business Revolution
As electronic technology becomes even more powerful, corporate structures need to be totally reinvented. Cybercorp begins with the assumption that great organizations need core values, strong cultures, clearly articulated vision, continuous process improvements, etc. It then asks and answers the question "What should my corporation look like if it is to take full advantage of Cyberspace, cybernetics, and superhighways?" Martin“s answer bridges the gap between business management and IT, essentially replacing the age of traumatic business reengineering with one of corporations designed to constantly evolve. This book is not about how to build a Web page on the Internet, but about the deep structural changes necessary for the age of "network-centric" computing and the new business opportunities the bring.
