Enterprise Compensation Management (ECM) is something that David Creelman thinks a lot of us may have wished for 20 years ago when such a thing wasn´t at all a possibility. As people begin to adopt it, it is one of the things that generally moves the function in the right direction. Enterprise Compensation Management (ECM) is something that I think a lot of us may have wished for 20 years ago when such a thing wasn´t at all a possibility; and as people begin to adopt it, I think it is one of the nice things that makes our life in HR much better and just generally moves the function in the right direction.
We are going to start with a little understanding of what ECM is all about. Then, we are going to talk about ECM in context and look at the other technologies that fit in a similar space. Obviously, one big question is: is ECM a good idea? Then we will talk about people who have been implementing ECM so that you can learn from what other people have done.
