Studies show that up to 90% of workplace incidents are caused by human error, which leads to reduced workforce productivity and creates high operating costs. As a result, progressive organizations are beginning to explore the human factor in the safety equation. This presentation will focus on the link between personality traits and higher-risk behavior, examining human “default settings” of being impulsive vs. cautious, rule-resistant vs. compliant, distractible vs. vigilant, irritable vs. calm and so on. It will show how this link can be used to recruit “safer” employees and train existing staff to reduce workplace incidents and increase the productivity of front-line staff.

Rewind 10 Years of Employee Stress in 2 Weeks… Fast, Simple and Tested.   In this presentation, Dr. Derek Lee will explain how his 4 week "Peace of Mind Protocol" has helped corporations quickly and effectively reduce employee stress.  In addition to briefly reviewing how stress works and how to fix it, he will prove it by presenting actual business case metrics gathered from real companies throughout North America.

Stress impacts us all differently. Some experience anxiety or depression while others experience pain or digestive conditions. Dr. Lee will demonstrate how stress reduction positively impacts 3 seemingly unrelated areas...namely employee mental health issues, obesity and chronic pain/inflammation syndromes.  These common health issues are typically among the top 3 employee health and wellness concerns.

Although stress is complex and multifaceted, there is a single variable that is universal to everyone’s stress response. Dr. Lee will talk about how to control this one factor which leads rapidly to predictable stress reduction.

He will review the simple 2 step method to stress reduction.

Dr. Lee will present metrics that show a 19% - 38% reduction in employee stress symptoms in 1 week followed by 43% - 62% reduction at 4 weeks. These results were stable at 8 weeks and 8 months post program.

Dr. Lee will also discuss how to best implement wellness programs in the corporate environment with low risk, low cost but high engagement. Dr. Lee will also talk about scalability, remote learning and high ROI.

Dr. Lee has designed a number of employee health and wellness programs. A successful program has to be highly engaging. To be engaging, the program has to be simple to implement with fast results. This conference is all about how to rewind 10 years of employee stress in 2 weeks...fast, simple and tested.
