The Affordable Care Act (ACA) and looming regulatory changes that impact healthcare costs and liability for all US employers are causing organizations to rethink their workforce management strategies and technologies. New rules require greater visibility into the hours employees work, new strategies for planning schedules that adhere to the organization’s planned response to the ACA, and heightened levels of reporting at the individual, organizational, local and federal level. Without a solid strategic workforce management foundation and the right automated workforce management tools, organizations will struggle to comply and make the right choices when it comes to healthcare reform. In this webinar, Mollie Lombardi, vice president and principal analyst of Aberdeen Group’s Human Capital Management practice will share her latest research on workforce management strategy and technology.

We continue our series on using Excel and VBA to automate the spreadsheets and develop powerful and sophisticated business tools in Excel. If you regularly use spreadsheets to produce a series of monthly charts and reports, or send spreadsheets to managers, you can have VBA do the same task for you in a matter of seconds. Part 4 will be a deeper dive into Userforms, in a tool that integrates performance rating sheets with a salary planning tool. We will show many specific examples of what can be done to simplify any process and take the time, effort and errors out of building tools for managers. We will show the specific VBA code that is used to automate these time intensive processes. We will also make available an Excel spreadsheet that shows the actual VBA code.

A strong business case is required to get management support for a new HR and payroll system. Having an appropriate signature that approves the project may not be enough. You need a business case that resists deferral or budgetary and resource drain.

This webinar from www.CoreHR.com and HRComparison.com gives practical advice on how to build such a business case. We consider four steps to follow in the preparation of the case and explore the efficiencies and time-saving benefits that an integrated HR and payroll system can bring to an organization across five areas.

Finally, it considers what success looks like so you can imagine the benefits a new HR system can bring to your organization.

The majority of HR technological innovation to date has been focused on improving efficiency and effectiveness of corporate HR/recruiters, with little being done to help improve the candidate experience of applying for a job. In many cases, these technologies have actually made the process worse for candidates, forcing them to manually enter their information into long application forms.

Organizations wanting to attract top talent need to make candidate experience a top priority within their HCM strategy. This means ensuring candidates have a positive experience throughout the application process, including making it easy for them to provide their information.

This presentation will show how you can make the application process simple for both the candidate and the recruiter. It will also show you how to increase the amount of candidate information captured, enabling recruiters to make quicker and more effective decisions on which candidates to pursue.

Learn about the importance of Candidate Experience and the impact it can have on the volume and quality of candidates that will complete your organization's application process.
  • Learn how to simplify the application process for both the candidate and the recruiter, while capturing more of the candidate's information at the same time.
  • Learn how to consider Candidate Experience throughout your entire recruitment process, including your Oracle HCM system.
