Every action an employee takes has the opportunity to either reinforce or diminish your brand. When HR and marketing join together, employees can become brand ambassadors and ultimately help create brand distinction in the marketplace.

An organization’s employees are its best brand ambassadors. They have the power to move the organization forward and make the brand live and breathe. There are no two ways about it, engaged employees build strong brands! The benefits of a strong brand are tremendous and all the best leaders realize that strong brands are not built by the marketing department alone they need HR in order to be successful.

In this session, we will hear from Patricia Nazemetz and Will Ruch, co-authors of “HR and Marketing Power Partners,” as well as executives at top global companies who have implemented a partnership between HR and marketing and discovered the impact it has on customer loyalty, business growth, talent acquisition and retention.

Technology may be intimidating to the HR professional who has spent years learning the ropes to deliver quality candidates that meet a variety of requirements. Many times, these individuals have joined the HR department through the Staffing and Recruiting world or are aiming to become true HR generalists. But regardless of the career stage they are in, it is almost impossible to be successful without incorporating new technology tools. During this session, we will share best practices on achieving desired results through cutting edge technology, and discuss the concept of opening doors to connect with great candidates that are hard to reach. It’s no secret that super star candidates are more passive in in perusing new employment opportunities. This webinar will include real-life advice on how to adopt new ways of introducing candidates to job opportunities and making important connections early in the recruitment process and using a “virtual handshake.”

The facts are clear – most companies today need to do a better job selecting talent. Recent survey data collected by the Corporate Executive Board indicates that nearly a quarter of all new hires leave their companies within a year, and that hiring managers wish that they never extended an offer to one of every five members of their team. And a recent Gallup survey found that 52% of American workers were “not engaged” with their work.

Can you afford to miss an opportunity to learn how best-in-class organizations are using new technologies to scientifically assess talent before hiring, resulting in lower turnover, higher job performance, and greater employee engagement?

The talent acquisition game has significantly changed. With an abundance of candidates to choose from…how do you find the right “fit”? Candidate alignment to vision, mission, values and culture are the key to weeding out, in round one, only the individuals that share the same beliefs and mind set as the organization. Professionals, who play a role in the development or acquisition of talent will gain a significant understanding of how to quickly diagnose organizational culture and how to determine who the “right fit” is.

Making sound decisions about hiring and promoting people is not easy. Unfortunately too many business people make hiring and promotion decisions based on their gut, only to suffer from ongoing indigestion when saddled with a poor performer. If you have ever made a personnel decision that you wished you could undo, please join consulting psychologist Dr. Larry Gard as he discusses how to design and conduct a great employment interview. In this 60-minute webinar he will reveal how to craft good questions that target specific competencies, what to listen for in a candidate’s answer, and how to make the selection process more objective.

Organizations, both large and small, are forever in pursuit for the best available talent. While it is clearly advantageous for companies to maintain their position to win the race for talent, the importance of mitigating risks in the hiring process is imperative and must never be over-looked.

Presented by veteran employment law attorney David Morrison of Goldberg Kohn, this webcast will provide insights on how to narrow the field of candidates while, at the same time, remain on firm legal ground. The importance of effectively managed employee background tests and investigations are paramount to support a safe and secure work environment and reduce the costs associated with poor hiring decisions. This session will present what to consider in the area of managing the minefield of background investigations and many other important risk mitigation topics.

LinkedIn remains the main site that almost every recruiter is using on a daily basis. In my own recruiting practice we are consistently finding that about 80% of placed candidates come from an initial contact on LinkedIn. “The” business network offers advanced search capabilities and convenient methods of business interactions, especially designed for recruiters.

While the ways to use LinkedIn do not require any special technical knowledge, they are not used by the majority of recruiters. This presentation will open up unexplored possibilities and will help the audience to use LinkedIn to its full capacity and to find top candidates that others won’t.
