To RPO, or Not To RPO. When Is Recruiting Technology Not Enough?
Organizations recognize that the strength of their company, is reliant upon the quality and quantity of talent coming in the front door. Talent acquisition professionals understand this all too well, and over time have defined processes, engaged internal and external stakeholders, developed metrics, and in turn delivered talent to the organization as required. But reacting to the internal organizational demands is not enough. A much more proactive approach to understanding the impact talent has to the business, recognizing those value added services that enhance an organization’s processes, as well as embracing new technologies that augment those processes, is putting more on the talent acquisition professional’s plate.

At the same time, there is continued pressure on the talent acquisition professional to hire better people, do it in a fraction of the time, and of course do it less expensively. What used to be a “requisition through hire” process, has quickly expanded to include the bookends of sourcing/CRM and onboarding. The good news, is that there are hundreds of technology based solutions which promise to improve quality, reduce time cycles and yes…reduce costs. But as the adage goes, “if all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail”. Technology absolutely plays a key role in making the talent acquisition process as effective and efficient as possible. But is that really enough?

At some point in time, talent acquisition professionals need to take an honest look at how talent acquisition is being delivered to the organization, and whether technology on its own is enough. An option is to entrust all or part of your talent acquisition delivery to a group that specializes in doing such. During this webinar, we will discuss the tell tale signs that warn us when procuring recruiting technology only is not enough, and why looking to a third party may make the most sense.
