Leading Across Cultures
It’s imperative for successful global businesses to compete on a global scale. Globalization today is the norm, not the exception. Leading in a global environment can be challenging and cultural differences are becoming more important factors in understanding leadership and designing and delivering effective development initiatives to support intercultural work assignments.

Leading across cultures is a critical element of leading in the Human Age and unleashing the power of what is humanly possible. It often requires making decisions in complex or ambiguous environments, understanding cultural nuances and adapting one’s style accordingly.

Right Management and Tucker International partnered to complete a groundbreaking study of nearly 2,000 leaders from 13 nationalities to learn more about:
• The most important intercultural competencies required of global leaders
• How these competencies differ across nationalities
• The factors that are most strongly predictive of leadership success in intercultural environments

This is a first of a kind study and is truly breakthrough for leadership development. Not only does it identify the cultural competencies needed for global leaders to be successful (as identified by only global leaders) but it also predicts the few vital behaviors required for effective cross-cultural leadership. Being able to predict success is critical for leading across cultures because without these insights it is impossible to differentiate how to invest in strategies that grow talent and develop leaders.

The briefing will also provide an opportunity for you to connect with other HR professionals to discuss common challenges and share best practices.

As a trusted partner, Right management is uniquely positioned in this area, with global resources and local knowledge of severance practices in the countries in which you operate. We hope to see you there!
