Anyone use SharePoint ?
01/23/2013 / 4:02 pm    #-24

Hey all

Was wondering if anyone in the forum uses SharePoint to help our with their HR functions ? It's a very popular platform and has so many ways of being used.

For example :

- You can use it for
- training
- staff opinion surveys
- distributing documents
- compliance and legal
- On-boarding Workflows
etc..

What else do you use it for ?

Thanks
Mark

I've never set it up, but I've been on the employee user end of it. I liked it for the most part. Sometimes it was hard to find what I was looking for (due the fast amount of documents). All in all it was reliable and easy to navigate if you knew what was there and what you were looking for. Most importantly, name files relevant to what their content is. If I had a company that had hundreds of employees and was spread out over a vast area (several states), I would seriously consider using it. Especially if my company was in the practice of aquiring established companies on a regular basis.
