Are SHRM Board Members Paid Too Much?

Research has shown that almost all non-profit board members are unpaid volunteers. SHRM's Board compensation plan provides $20,000 to $35,000 per board member annually for four meetings a year, do you feel this is excessive or do you agree with the comp plan?
