Time for an Organizational Review?

As summer is drawing to an end and many are returning from vacations and settling into fall, we wanted to touch base with you to see if there are any specific areas that you want to explore or implement with your organization.
Some questions you may want to ponder:
Strategic Visioning, Management, and Momentum:
1.Have you reviewed your strategic plan, strategic initiatives, and/or strategic goals for the year?
2.Are you on track with your projection of what you wanted to accomplish?
3.Will the next four months give me time to accomplish my goals?
1.Do I have the personnel in place that will meet my needs?
2.Do I need to review job descriptions and the people who are in those jobs and responsible for the fulfilling the tasks and requirements related to the job description?
3.Do I need to re-assign people to create a better "job fit" for them and the organization?
4.Do I need to hire more people?
5.Does the budget allow for personnel changes?
Onboarding and Training:
1.When hiring new people, do I have a solid onboarding process to insure they are able to adapt to a new organization of job?
2.Do I have a training plan for new and existing employees?
3.Do the training courses include basic, job-specific, or technical content?
4.Have I included personal and interpersonal courses that will help the employee grow professionally in working with others?
Management and Supervisory Preparation and Succession Planning:
1.Have your manager and supervisor been put into these roles because of their technical expertise or their ability to lead a team or organization? Or both?
2.Do you have people in place to move into a leadership role if one of your leaders leaves?
3.How are you employees trained for future advancement?
4.If you don't have internal candidates in mind, do you need to start looking outside for possible future leaders?
