Some say it's the ability to be a great communicator and an even greater delegator. What are your thoughts on this?

Here's a few funny videos on what doesn't make a good leader.

It's as much about what we don't do as a leader, as what we do. A good leader doesn't... micromanage, play favorites, waste people's time, overcomplicate, or demean.

First, it is important to know what leadership is - watch this short video.

Then one must understand how lead employees to becom engaged - watch this short video

There is a science to everything in this universe and people are no exception.

Best regards, Ben
Leadership is a science and so is engagement

I think what makes a great leader is being able to interject your self into your employees. Meaning help them unterstand their role and get them to buy in to what they do. Also it is good to let them know how important they are not only to the company but to the team. A great leader is able to guide others, create a postive atmosphere and give oppotunities to others. In doing all of this they should be able to develop others into leaders by making weakness.... stronger....

I was unsure where to post this but wondering if someone can tell me how to get into the HR field without a HR degree. I have my MPh and B.S in Fitness Management. Looking for a change but something that is broad. Thanks!

We put together an infographic that describes some leadership qualities that can be developed and put in your own “skills” filing cabinet.

Great leaders have developed the insight to see the best in people and the ability to inspire others to be the absolute best of themselves by maximizing the strengths of every individual of their team. They value people and recognize them for their contributions.

A good leader knows how to influence other people to follow their vision for the organization. They inspire people to be their best and has a positive and optimistic view of the world and what they are doing.

Great leaders know how to connect on a individual level with those they are leading. They have great interpersonal skills and they join with you on the journey for the attainment of the organizations goals.
