Description
Imagine a self-led employee development program that provides a fresh approach to traditional succession planning to deliver exceptional results for your organization. That is the current reality at Seattle-based PEMCO Mutual Insurance.

In this webinar, members of the PEMCO team will discuss the company’s unique succession-planning journey and also share a do-it-yourself guide that could help your organization benefit from a similar approach.

The background

As is a common challenge with many mid-sized, fast growth companies, PEMCO was unable to easily identify future organizational development changes. The HR leadership team wanted to ensure that the company had an agile workforce in place, complete with the competencies its employees needed to take the company successfully into the future. With this mission in mind, PEMCO decided to embark on a journey that would significantly change the way it did succession planning.

What emerged is a refreshing take on succession planning that is far removed from conventional secret room with “the names” on the wall.

What you’ll learn

In this session, learn how PEMCO overcame the challenges of horizontal invisibility, executive resistance and change management by leveraging:

• the flexibility of talent pools and the latest succession technology
• a bottom-up approach of voluntary employee participation
• a robust talent framework that now includes 14 talent pools
• ongoing self-driven development

The takeaways

After attending this webinar, you’ll have an understanding of how your organization can implement a world-class talent development program that supports your strategy and ensures you have the talent and bench strength to stay competitive today, tomorrow and well into the future.
Who Should Participate
HR Practioners, HR Managers, and HR Executives.
