How to Make the Business Case For Workforce Analytics

Description
Complexity in today’s workforce, new technology investments, economic pressures, talent as a competitive edge, aligning the people strategy with the business strategy and many other reasons are driving a change in HR to be information-savvy. With more than 70 percent of business budgets being tied up in personnel costs, the performance leverage is most significant.

Today’s HR leaders are faced with unrelenting pressure to drive both strategic and operational performance for their organizations; reduce labor costs, improve productivity, attract and retain top talent, and implement workforce strategies to support key business objectives.

Businesses exist to grow profits. Regardless of how well a new technology improves a business process, the decision to implement it must be justified by a significant positive impact to the bottom line.

When faced with senior leadership to ask for major investments in HR solutions, credibility is often on the line and HR needs to speak the language of the executive audience. HR needs to feel confident they can understand and articulate the cost value of the investment, and build the business case for the long-term ROI on the organization’s performance and profitability.

Cost, flexibility and time to value are shaping the market. Realizing cost-savings, by eliminating the need to implement large-scale and expensive BI solutions to manage HR data, has seen the adoption of cloud-based workforce analytics significantly increase.

In this session, we will provide a comprehensive chart to help HR navigate these tricky waters. We will outline the limitations and pitfalls of various HR solutions, and provide attendees with a business case speaking the ROI language, using sample calculations to present the performance and financial payback from a variety of Workforce Analytics solutions, designed to impress and sell your recommendation to potentially risk-averse leadership.
Who Should Participate
CHRO, VP or Director of HR, VP or Director of HRIS, VP or Director of Workforce Planning or Analytics, or responsible for ensuring your organization is getting the most from its workforce strategy investment

Making the slides available even 5 mins prior to the session would enable attendees to draft print slides so that key notes could be written quickly on the appropriate slides as the presentation progress. By minimizig distraction concentration...hence retention...is optimized by eliminating the distraction of also trying to reference where in the presentation your note(s) was/were relevant. Other webinars I attend use this approach and I find it enhances the learning experience for me 4 / 5
