Description
Curious how other companies manage their drivers? Attend this webinar to hear how Reddy-Ice planned and executed on their driver qualification program to discover best practices. Add that with the review of the 2012 Commercial Driver Safety Report results, and you will be better prepared to scrutinize your own programs to create a best-in-class driver approach.
As in years past, immense regulatory change continues within the commercial transportation industry. For the most part, the new regulations and guidelines from Federal and state government agencies are designed to support improved public safety by reducing traffic crashes and fatality rates involving large commercial vehicles. The changes are positive for businesses since a reduction in commercial vehicle crashes can significantly reduce operating and administrative costs, however, they also expand compliance tasks and require added due diligence when hiring and managing commercial drivers. By providing a benchmark of current DOT-regulated hiring programs, including compliance measurements for key program components related to driver health, behavior and required certifications, this report reveals common areas of strength and weakness within driver safety programs. Data used in this report is based on the actual search history of a sampling of LexisNexis® screening customers from June 2011 through June 2012 compared to previous years . In addition, this year, LexisNexis conducted a public survey in July and August with HR.Com and have also included those results in separate areas to provide a public viewpoint. Attend this webinar and receive a free copy of the full 2012 LexisNexis Commercial Driver Safety Report.
