Description
Electronic personnel files allow human resources personnel easy access to employee documents, yet keep confidential information secure from unauthorized access. But what criteria should be used to choose content management software that will allow you to cost-effectively create electronic personnel files? And what are the strategies that can help ensure a smooth implementation, so HR staff members are comfortable with the new technology and your organization reaps the full benefits of enhanced functionality?
In this presentation, you’ll learn how FairPoint Communications managed the process for selecting and deploying HR document management technology to create electronic personnel files. When an acquisition tripled the size of FairPoint, the company was challenged to find a way to bring together employee files from both companies. The task was even more daunting since HR departments and personnel files were decentralized, and the new system would have to be deployed with minimal IT support. The key areas that will be covered include: • The RFP process, highlighting the three key criteria FairPoint used to evaluate software vendors and project the amount of IT support needed to implement the technology • The project plan, including the expected timeline, design considerations, security and workflow • Training and rollout strategies that used a phased-in approach to ensure key personnel had access to the documents they needed as soon as possible • Lessons learned, including four key considerations for future implementations Presented by the project manager at FairPoint, this webinar will offer a real-world view of how to choose a document management vendor that can help you create electronic personnel files. Who Should Participate
HR managers and supervisors, HRMS/HRIS administrators, HR generalists, recruiters, benefits administrators
