Description
As a participant in the Current Web Technology for Workforce Management and Disaster Recovery you will be introduced to the other side of the offerings – the technology side. We will not be headed into the weeds but rather discuss the important pieces, the formats and associate those technologies with keeping the service running for your employees and you in case of a disaster.
Although we will touch on the past technologies with the current technological modifications, we will invest more time in discussion of the “Cloud”. Over the past several years the ability to use the cloud has expanded and has become almost a common place without the understanding of what is behind the curtain. We will float through the perceptions of the cloud, the definition if a cloud environment, and how it can be of benefit along with the risks. Once we leave the cloud we will begin to discuss what happens when the parachute breaks and we have a disaster on our hands. Surrounding the various technologies inclusive of the cloud, we will address what could happen, how it could happen and examples of recent situations. More importantly we will touch on several of the key questions to ask and processes that can be established to help mitigate impact on the operation. We will also introduce an important friend that you will want to become very familiar with for continued successful operations and reccomend a person to have a good working relationship with. We will look at two of the certifications that help identify a good worforce management solution. Who Should Participate
HR Professionals and HR Generalists will benefit from this discussion
