Young Entrepreneurs begin New Venture Selling Workplace Compliance Posters

By:
Date: May 12 2012

Corning, NY (PRWEB) May 12, 2012
A pair of young professionals and entrepreneurs from Upstate New York have recently combined their talents and resources to start an online business selling workplace compliance posters. Their experience in design and marketing has helped them create a promising internet presence for the venture.

Sean Lukasik is the owner of CreAgent Marketing, an internet marketing and website design agency that helps businesses improve their SEO through social media and internet campaigns. Brandon Eaton is a freelance graphic designer focused on serving the needs of small businesses in the ‘Twin Tiers’ region of New York and Pennsylvania.

The entrepreneurs realized that many businesses had a disorganized display of paperwork in their break rooms just to stay in compliance with Federal and State Departments of Labor. “I saw this as an opportunity to use my design skills to help businesses all across the country,” said Eaton. “We do the work to find out which documents are required in each state, then create one large poster that fulfills all the requirements.”

They created a website for selling their posters and have also used e-commerce tools like eBay and Amazon to build a customer base. “The important part of internet marketing is making sure someone can find your product when they’re ready to buy,” said Lukasik. “We’re trying to give our customers the most convenient and efficient way to fulfill these requirements and get back to work.”

The new business can be found at http://www.uspostercompliance.com, where an interactive map makes it easy to find and purchase the correct poster.
“It’s nice to make something that can contribute in a small way,” said Eaton. “We’re not trying to revolutionize the workplace - just keep it a little more organized.”

Lukasik and Eaton can both be reached at info(at)uspostercompliance(dot)com or by phone at 716-406-8772. US Poster Compliance, LLC is located at 579 State Rt. 414, Beaver Dams, NY 14812.
