YAHOO! HOTJOBS TO OFFER NEW ADVERTISING TOOLS TARGETING PASSIVE JOB SEEKERS

By:
Date: June 26 2006

SHRM, Washington, D.C. - June 26, 2006 - Just as Yahoo! helps marketers
drive business leads, the company is now using its expertise in search and
graphical advertising to help employers and staffing agencies target job
candidates. Adding to its suite of products that go beyond traditional job
listings, Yahoo! HotJobs today announced the initial launch of its Yahoo!
Recruitment Advertising (YRA) program - which helps employers and staffing
agencies find candidates across the Yahoo! network.

"Yahoo! provides one of the most engaged and valuable audiences on the
Web," said Dan Finnigan, executive vice president and general manager. "We
are leveraging that audience to present employment opportunities to a
targeted group of passive job candidates."

With YRA, recruiters can promote career opportunities in other Yahoo!
properties such as Yahoo! Finance, Yahoo! Mail or Yahoo! News. They can
also now expand their presence in algorithmic search results using Search
Submit Pro, or they can bid on keywords to get premium placements on
relevant search results pages using Sponsored Search.

Yahoo! Network Advertising
Yahoo! Network Advertising enables recruiters to target people on the
Yahoo! network by location, industry, occupation and behavior. They can use
contextual, streaming and interactive media to engage candidates and drive
them back to their company profile or job listings page.

Yahoo! Search Submit Pro
Yahoo! Search Submit Pro provides tools for recruiters to expand their
presence in the algorithmic search results. When companies use Search
Submit Pro, they can display career opportunities in the natural search
results section, guaranteeing inclusion of their opportunities in the
index.

Yahoo! Sponsored Search
Yahoo! Sponsored Search provides maximum visibility on the Yahoo! Search
Results page.  Companies bid for placement on relevant search results after
being editorially reviewed for quality. Advertisers only pay when a job
seeker clicks on their listing.

Job seekers, both active and passive, use Yahoo! for numerous daily
activities such as checking email, stock quotes and sports scores to just
name a few. The three products being introduced will help recruiters find
these job seekers no matter where they are on the network.
