WANTED Analytics™ “Heat Maps” Show You Where it is Easier or Harder to Find Candidates

Date: August 2 2012

New York, NY (PRWEB) August 02, 2012
WANTED Technologies (TSX-V: WAN), the leading source of real-time business intelligence for the talent marketplace, announces the launch of new interactive heat maps, the latest enhancement to the company’s industry-leading Analytics™ platform (

The new map provides insight into hiring demand, the supply of qualified candidates, average salary ranges, the average time-to-fill, and the predicted difficulty of filling any position across the United States. Data is shown on a state and metropolitan area level. With this information, employers can assess the recruiting conditions across the United States and target the best locations to source candidates before they begin the recruitment process.

“This is the first ever visual display of real-time supply and demand for talent,” said Bruce Murray, President and CEO of WANTED Technologies. “With this tool, recruiters and hiring managers can see just where it will be easiest to find qualified candidates. This accelerates the hiring process and reduces costs across the board.”
The measurements of difficult-of-hire are based on the number of candidates in an area and the current demand for those candidates. If there are a limited number of qualified candidates, and a many employers looking for those candidates, it is likely that the position will be very difficult to fill.

The measurements are very detailed for all types of positions and all geographical locations. Users of the WANTED Analytics™ products and solutions can assess hiring difficulty on a national level and drill into local markets down to the county level.

WANTED Analytics is the leading business intelligence platform for the talent marketplace. Clients use WANTED Analytics to gain real-time insight into the activity in the recruiting space. The company serves organizations in the media, staffing, government and corporate HR sectors.

“We help professionals solve their talent acquisition challenges by providing them with real-time, detailed, reliable information that can help them make better, faster recruiting decisions,” said Murray.
