IHRIM HRMS Strategies Conference and Technology Expo
720 South Michigan Avenue
TALX will exhibit at booth numbers 214 – 216.
In today’s fast-moving business environment of complex tax policies and constantly changing compliance laws, employers face unprecedented challenges in managing costs and reducing liability. During the conference, TALX will introduce Elements, its newly developed analytics solution for Employment Verification, I-9 and Unemployment Cost Management services. With Elements, organizations will be able to access and interact with accurate data about their workforce, allowing them to make more strategic decisions that minimize risk and reduce costs through all stages of the employee lifecycle. TALX will provide live Elements demonstrations during the conference’s exposition at booth numbers 214 – 216. Visitors to the booth can also learn more about how TALX services help inform critical business decisions, achieve compliance, and streamline and improve HR, payroll and tax-related processes.
Attendees can learn more about TALX Workforce Analytics by attending “Immediate Insight: Content + Technology = Instant Workforce Analytics at Equifax.” On May 1, Kent Lingerfelt, senior vice president of Total Rewards at Equifax, and Mike Psenka, senior vice president of Analytics at TALX, will explain how Equifax was able to select and successfully implement a workforce analytics platform that combined internal and external content with low-maintenance analytics technology. Attendees of this session will learn how enhanced workforce analytics enabled Equifax to bring its disparate data systems, such as talent management, financial services and outsourced employment verification, into a single system with industry benchmarks. Participants will also learn how the enhanced workforce analytics platform enabled the company to discover new and actionable insights about its workforce.
On Thursday, May 3, David Fowler, vice president of Product Strategy for TALX, and Greg Spence, vice president of Payroll for CKE Restaurants, will provide a first-hand account of how CKE found greater efficiency in converting their paper-based I-9 systems to a standardized, electronic I-9 system. During “Dishing Up Streamlined Electronic I-9 Service & Compliance with CKE Restaurants,” attendees will learn about the benefits of electronic I-9 and E-Verify integration; how to take charge of the constantly changing legislative landscape for I-9 compliance, and gain a better understanding of Form I-9, Electronic I-9 Law and Rule, E-Verify and FAR contract compliance. Moreover, participants will leave the session with ideas for bolstering their organization’s case for moving to an electronic I-9 system.
This presentation is part of IHRIM’s full agenda of educational sessions, networking events and HR technology showcases. The 2012 HRMS Strategies Conference and Technology Expo will take place in Chicago and focus on the exchange of ideas and information about HR systems and HR information management.
