DALLAS – May 24, 2012 – Petco, the national pet specialty retailer, is improving its ability to select and hire the best-suited candidates to serve pet parents by expanding its use of PeopleAnswers’ pre-employment assessment software across its more than 1,100 stores nationwide.

Following a pilot of the PeopleAnswers tool in more than 150 Petco stores, the company is rolling it out to all stores to help identify, select and hire candidates for hourly and management positions. A post-pilot study shows a significant decrease in turnover among associates recommended by PeopleAnswers when compared with all others hired during the same time period.
