Most Engaged Employee Contest Launched to Recognize Top Talent Across the U.S.

Chicago, IL – July 24, 2012 – Avatar HR Solutions and the Enterprise Engagement Alliance (EEA) announced today the launch of the Most Engaged Employee contest to publicly recognize Actively Engaged employees for making a significant difference for their employers, colleagues, and customers/patients.  Interested parties can submit their nominations at http://www.mostengagedemployee.com.
 
Nominees will be judged on a variety of criteria including ongoing actions indicative of a high level of engagement, length of service, and clear evidence supporting how they made their organization a better place to work.  Final decisions will be made by a panel of five judges drawn from sponsors and business advisors to the EEA.  Monthly winners will receive a lifestyle prize (e.g., dining, outdoors, lifestyle, electronics, etc.) of their choice.  The annual top prize is a custom-designed, all-expenses-paid trip for two for four nights tailored to the winner’s nightlife, cuisine, art, outdoors, and historical interests.
 
“This inaugural contest serves to recognize the most engaged employees who truly go above and beyond the call of duty at their organization,” said Kevin Sheridan, Senior Vice President – HR Optimization of Avatar HR Solutions.  “Actively Engaged, loyal, and productive workers play an instrumental role in helping their organizations deliver positive business outcomes.”
 
Judges will begin selecting monthly winners as soon as three consecutive months of nominees have been accumulated.  The first monthly winner is expected to be announced inJanuary 2013 while the annual winner will be named in May 2013.
