Date: May 7 2012

TORONTO, May 7, 2012 /CNW/ - Homewood Human Solutions™, an industry leader and pioneer in mental health and addictions, organizational health, and Employee and Family Assistance Programs, has released a Mental Health Tool Kit, just in time for Mental Health Week in Canada.

"There was a time when mental health issues were overlooked due to stigma and lack of education.  We were exposed to, and participated in, many campaigns for diseases of all types, but mental health was simply not on the agenda" says Judith Plotkin, Vice President Strategic Growth for Homewood Human Solutions. "Conversing about mental illness is becoming more prevalent in our homes, workplaces, and schools. People are tweeting, blogging, chatting and discussing mental health in every way possible. The tool kit we have developed is one way we hope to encourage these discussions. Our goal is to raise awareness, and keep people informed."

Homewood Human Solutions' Mental Health Tool Kit contains information on mental illness and how to improve mental health, as well as an individual stress assessment. The Mental Health Tool Kit is available to the public via:
