GSA Awards Contract for "The Military to Civilian Transition Guide"

The U.S. Government Services Administration (GSA) awarded a Federal Supply Schedule contract to Competitive Edge Services, Inc. for "The Military to Civilian Transition Guide". Carl Savino, co-author of the book, stated "This GSA contract makes it easier for government agencies to purchase books for the military transition programs that help veterans get jobs."

Competitive Edge, also known as Corporate Gray, was awarded Contract Number GS-02F-0146X and its GSA price list offers discounts from 9% to 61% off commercial prices.

"The Military to Civilian Transition Guide" was formerly known as The Corporate Gray Series. The book includes chapters on transition myths, a 10-step job search process, motivated abilities and skills, employer-centered objectives, transition assistance, resumes and cover letters, networking for job leads and interviews, and negotiating salary and benefits.

Competitive Edge Services, Inc., based in Fairfax Station, Virginia, is a small veteran-owned business that publishes military-to-civilian transition books, sponsors military friendly job fairs, and hosts Corporate Gray Online, a database for veterans and the employers interested in hiring them.
