ERC Dataplus congratulates clients named to FORTUNE ‘100 Best Companies to Work For’

Norwalk, CT. --- (May 1, 2011) --- ERC Dataplus, Inc., is pleased to congratulate three of its long-standing clients for their inclusion in the 2011 “100 Best Companies to Work For” list compiled by FORTUNE Magazine. Those clients are:

Mercedes-Benz USA, which ranked 15th in the FORTUNE roster, and was cited for the flexible work schedules it permits employees, as well as compressed workweeks and a generous telecommuting policy. And, oh yes, the 1,700 employees at its Montvale, NJ-based headquarters also have access to an on-site car wash. Balfour Beatty Construction, a British-owned builder with North American headquarters in Dallas, took the 40th spot thanks to corporate loyalty to employees during the recession, which hit its industry hard. The company minimized layoffs across its employee base, and earned their appreciation. Balfour Beatty Communities, a division that specializes in “providing best-in-class real estate solutions to military and other residential communities… through integrated development, construction and management services,” knows it has hired the right people: its HR team uses ERC’s Selectech® Talent Acquisition Suite to track applicants from job posting, through screening, to on-boarding.

Marriott International, leader in yet another industry hard-hit by the recession, nevertheless earned 71st place in the FORTUNE ranking as a result of its concern for employees. As the magazine’s editors note: “When some associates couldn’t get enough hours to qualify for insurance, leaders changed the policy.” Based in Bethesda, MD, Marriott trains and grooms those leaders across its global properties using Argos 360° Assessments.
