2012 QUALITY OF LIVING RANKINGS AND LATEST DATA RELEASED

Mercer's annual Quality of Living city rankings are out! Vienna is No. 1 again, and European cities continue to dominate the top of the ranking. This year, we have also released a special ranking of city infrastructure, with Singapore ranked highest. See sidebar to find out more.


The rankings are based on our Quality of Living Survey, which Mercer conducts to help multinational companies like yours to compensate employees fairly when sending them on assignments abroad. We evaluate the quality of living for expatriates based on 39 factors in ten categories, ranging from housing to the natural environment. We have just updated our data for over 460 locations.
