How many employees really love being told what to do, when to do it and how to do it without having any say? As you might have already guessed, and as this infographic shows, the answer is: not very many (or 4% to be precise).

So, why is this the way that managers so often interact with their staff? If we changed this, how much less conflict might we have within organizations? Would employees immediately stop working or be at a loss as to what to do next?
